YANGON, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- A 4.9-magnitude earthquake hit Pyay in Myanmar's Bago region on Wednesday, according to a release of the Meteorology and Hydrology Department.
The earthquake struck at 1:44 p.m. local time, and the epicenter was 14.4 km southeast of Pyay.
"No damage occurred so far as it is slight," an official from the department told Xinhua.
