HELSINKI, March 20 (Xinhua) -- The top floor of a condo house caught fire in Tampere, central Finland on Tuesday morning, local media reported.
The fire caused heavy smoke and the police asked people to avoid the Tampere city core. Bus routes were diverted widely around the center, but were restored by the afternoon.
The house has 63 units. The police said the inhabitants were evacuated and no one was presumed injured, unless there were people on the top floor.
The police are making an investigation, and for the moment, suspect criminal activity as the cause of the housefire.
