Authentic Chinese cuisine debut at National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago

CHICAGO, May 20 (Xinhua) -- With countless attendees visiting the Chinese Exhibition Section at the 99th National Restaurant Association (NRA) Show, which lasts from May 19 to 22 at McCormick Place in Chicago, Chinese restaurant industry shows its image of Chinese cuisine with high quality, authenticity and upscale dining.

More than 67,000 restaurant industry professionals are expected to converge on Chicago this weekend for the 99th National Restaurant Association Restaurant, Hotel-Motel Show, organizers said.

This is second time Chinese restaurant industry attended the world first class exhibition. Chinese Consul General in Chicago Hong Lei highly praised their efforts, saying that "we can see innovations on the Chinese Exhibition Zone, such as we have Chinese Cuisine Forum, Chinese Culinary Competition."

Hong on Saturday addressed the opening ceremony of Chinese Exhibition Section that Chicago NRA Show is world renowned event with long history and he is happy to see Chinese restaurant industry continues to attend this grand industry exhibition.

"What Chinese cuisine show not only color, flavor and good taste, but embodies traditional Chinese culture and our pursuit of good life. I hope Chinese restaurant industry could be a cultural ties to bridge China and the United States together." Hong said.

Tony Li, deputy manager of Juhao Flavor (Hong Kong) Co.,Ltd told Xinhua that through NRA show, many restaurant industry professionals have visited his exhibition booth and some of them expressed willingness to cooperate.

"We found more and more American customers are loving more authentic regional Chinese food, which is our expertise in keeping overseas kitchen outside China that can keep its original flavor and taste." Li said.

The Chinese Exhibition Section is hosted by American Chinese Culinary Federation, American Chinese Restaurant Institute, North American Restaurant Association and Juhao Flavor(Hong Kong) Co., Ltd.
