THE HAGUE, June 7 (Xinhua) -- Dutch Queen Maxima's younger sister has died in Buenos Aires and the Dutch Royal Family will go to Argentina for the funeral this weekend, the Dutch government information service announced on Thursday.

Maxima's sister Ines Zorreguieta, 33, was found dead in her apartment in the Argentine capital, most likely as a result of suicide, according to Argentine and Dutch media.

For years, Ines Zorreguieta has been plagued by psychological problems and depressive feelings, the Dutch NOS public newscaster said.

Maxima and Ines have always had a good relationship despite their age difference of 13 years. Ines was godmother of the youngest daughter of King Willem-Alexander and Maxima: Ariane, according to Dutch media.
