SUVA, July 8 (Xinhua) -- Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea Peter O'Neill arrived here Sunday to start his first official visit to Fiji since he became prime minister in 2012.
According to a press release by Fiji's Department of Information, during his stay in Fiji, O'Neill will address on Monday the Fijian parliament on the progress of preparations by his government for hosting the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders' Meeting in Port Moresby, capital of Papua New Guinea in November this year.
O'Neill will also be the keynote speaker at a public lecture hosted by the University of the South Pacific (USP) on Monday.
O'Neill will leave Fiji on Tuesday afternoon after finishing his visit.
