YANGON, July 18 (Xinhua) -- One person has been killed with a woman missing as a boat capsized in Myanmar's waters in Taninthayi region, said a release of the Home Affairs Ministry on Wednesday.
The vessel carrying eight people including three women was hit by massive waves and capsized near Aung Than creek in Kawthaung township at 12:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday.
Search and rescue operations for the missing woman is underway by the authorities.
