In the match held in the capital Tehran on Sunday, Ahmad Esmaeilpour, Abolghasem Orouji, Farhad Tavakkoli, Asghar Hassanzadeh and Mehran Alighadr scored for the Iranian team. Iran will play Belarus in another friendly match on Monday. The Iran futsal team is preparing for the 2018 AFC Futsal Championship which will be held in Taiwan in February. Iran has been drawn along with Iraq, China and Myanmar in Group C. Iran, champion of 11 of the 14 editions of the competition, has won seven straight editions before its streak was broken by Japan. Japan has won the other three editions of the competition.
