NEW YORK, Jan. 26 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale jolted 182km north of Madang, Papua New Guinea, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said on Friday.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 3.5757 degrees south latitude and 145.8034 degrees east longitude.
