HONG KONG, Jan. 30 (Xinhua) -- The gold price in Hong Kong went down 70 Hong Kong dollars to open at 12,490 dollars (about 1,597.52 U.S. dollars) per tael on Tuesday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.
