ISLAMABAD, Feb. 20 (Xinhua) -- Pakistan on Tuesday expressed deep condolences over the loss of precious lives in the tragic plane crash in Iran, officials said.
Spokesman of the Foreign Ministry Muhammad Faisal said that Pakistan has received the news of Iran's Aseman Airliner plane crash in the city of Semirom on Sunday with deep sorrow.
"The government and the people of Pakistan convey their condolences on the loss of precious lives in the tragic air crash," he said, adding that thoughts and prayers of the people of Pakistan are with the victims and their bereaved families.
The air tragedy killed all 66 people aboard, the Civil Aviation Organization of Iran confirmed on Sunday.
