TIANJIN, China, March 14 (Xinhua) -- Tianjin Quanjian bounced back from a 6-3 defeat against Jeonbuk Hyundai last week by beating the South Korean side 4-2 in the fourth round of Group E in the AFC Champions League here on Wednesday.
As Paulo Sousa's side was out for revenge, Quanjian had a dream start just eight minutes into the game as unmarked Wang Yongpo drilled a shot low from just inside the box, the ball squirmed through the goalkeeper Song Bumkeun's hands.
Jeonbuk Hyundai scored the equalizer in the 37th minute. Kim Shinwook who completed a hat-trick in last round, nodded in a Lee Jae Sung pass from close range.
Quanjian restored the lead 10 minutes after the restart. Mi Haolun sprinted past a defender and pulled back from the by-line and Zhang Cheng got his twisting header into the net.
The away side got back on level terms again when Wang Jie's clearance came off Kim Shinwook's leg and Carlos Adriano's attempt took a deflection off a helpless Zhang Lu.
In the 84th minute Quanjian won back possession, Anthony Modeste controlled a Zhao Xuri's pass and sent it into the net after hitting the upright.
Quanjian sealed the match with great teamwork in stoppage time. Substitute Sun Ke surged forward, his through ball released Modeste who squared for Pato to find the net.
