BEIJING, April 5 (Xinhua) -- A 4.9-magnitude earthquake hit Yuli County in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region at 11:08 p.m. Thursday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter, with a depth of 12 km, was monitored at about 41.10 degrees north latitude and 87.65 degrees east longitude, the center said in a statement.
