WASHINGTON, April 13 (Xinhua) -- Jodie Meeks of the Washington Wizards has been suspended without pay for 25 games for violating the terms of the NBA Anti-Drug Program by testing positive for Ipamorelin, a growth hormone, the NBA announced on Friday.
The suspension came just a day before Game one of the first round playoff matchup between the Wizards and the Toronto Raptors, the top team of the East Conference.
In the first season with the Wizards, Meeks averaged 6.3 points.
