TEHRAN, May 18 (Xinhua) -- 24-year-old Iranian international football player Saman Ghoddos is linked with a move to Celta Vigo, Tasnim news agency reported on Friday.
The Ostersunds striker stepped into the limelight this year thanks to a string of fantastic Europa League performances. Ghoddos made 13 appearances in this competition and scored five goals, adding to eight more he bagged in the Allsvenksan league.
He has picked up where he left off and is currently enjoying a fine run of form in the 2018 campaign in the Swedish top flight with three goals in eight matches. He played every single minute thus far and already has a couple of European sides on his trail.
Earlier in the season, Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion made their intentions known when they saw Ghoddos play against Arsenal in the Europa League. Ghoddos could join Celta Vigo as a direct replacement for winger Pione Sisto.
