FRANKFURT, June 14 (Xinhua) -- German stocks rose on Thursday, with the benchmark DAX index up 216.52 points, or 1.68 percent, to close at 13,107.10 points.
Energy group E.ON won the most among the blue chips, with its shares up 3.12 percent. Automotive manufacturer Volkswagen and energy group RWE rose by 2.76 percent both.
Commerzbank lost the most among the blue chips, by falling 2.41 percent. German airlines Lufthansa down by 1.00 percent. Industrial giant Thyssenkrupp down by 0.21 percent.
German multinational chemical and pharmaceutical company Bayer was the most-traded share with a turnover of 671.23 million euros (787.35 million U.S. dollars). Enditem
