BERLIN, June 29 (Xinhua) -- FC Basel's Michael Lang has committed his future to Borussia Monchengladbach, the Bundesliga club announced on Friday.
The 27-year-old right back bolsters up Monchengladbach's defence after penning a four-year contract with the "Foals".
"Michael Lang is a right back with a lot of offensive drive and international experience. We are pleased that we were able to sign him. We wish a much success for the upcoming tasks at the World Cup in Russia," Monchengladbach's sporting director Max Eberl said.
Lang is an experienced defender who played for FC Basel lately. He made overall 272 outings to score 31 goals and to provide 24 assists in Switzerland's top flight.
Monchengladbach completed the Bundesliga season 2017-2018 on the 9th place.
