HAVANA, July 28 (Xinhua) -- France's Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian arrived in Havana Saturday to discuss bilateral ties, becoming the first European foreign minister to visit Cuba since President Miguel Diaz-Canel succeeded Raul Castro.
On Saturday, he held talks with his Cuban counterpart Bruno Rodriguez.
During the two-day visit following a three-day trip to Colombia, Le Drian will also visit Havana's historical downtown area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1982, and meet other officials.
