The home side picked four tries by Philip Wokorach, two from Solomon Okia and pone apiece by Robert Masindi, Micheal Okorach, Asuman Mugerwa and Aaron Ofoyrwoth.

"We are very happy that after losing to Namibia and Kenya we have now reorganized and picked a big win over Tunisia. We need to keep the momentum high to win our remaining two home games against Morocco and Zimbabwe," John Duncan, Uganda Rugby Cranes coach told Xinhua after the game.

Tunisia's try scorer Khalfi said they were disappointed with the defeat. "We tried to push the Ugandan team, but failed to match their game approach," said Khalfi.
