JAKARTA, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- Top seed Zhang Shuai reached last four after beating South Korea's Han Nalae 6-3, 6-3 in women's singles quarterfinals of the Asian Games tennis tournament on Wednesday.
Zhang, Chinese number one, needed only one hour and 20 minutes to send Han packing after hitting 28 winners throughout the match.
Zhang had total control in the opening set, breaking twice to win at 6-3. In the second set, Zhang looked shaky in the beginning and lost serve in the first game, but she retained calmness quickly and broke back twice to take the momentum.
The Asian Games, attracting more than 10,000 athletes, will run through Sept. 2.
