JAKARTA, Aug. 24 (Xinhua) -- Indian team of Rohan Manchanda Bopanna and Divil Sharan defeated Kazakhstan's Aleksandr Bublik and Denis Yevseyev in the final to win men's doubles gold 6-3, 6-4 in the Asian Games tennis tournament on Friday.
The top seeds were in good form as they just needed 51 minutes to wrap up the victory.
Bopanna/Sharan had an early break in the opening set to jump to a 4-1 lead before securing the set at 6-3. In the second set, Bublik and Yevseyev regained some momentum but still dropped serve in the seventh game. After that, the Indian pair never looked back.
