WUHAN, Oct. 1 (Xinhua) -- About 5,000 runners, both at home and abroad, are expected to take part in the inaugural Wuhan Mulan Mountain Marathon slated for November, organizers said on Monday.
The mountain marathon on Nov. 11 with a climb of 696 meters, features a full course marathon, a half marathon and a 11km healthy run around the scenic Mt. Mulan, with a total prize of 400,000 yuan (some 59,000 US dollars).
Mt. Mulan boasts of the largest urban ecological landscape in central China.
