PORT DICKSON, Malaysia, Oct. 13 (Xinhua) -- Former Malaysian deputy Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim returned to parliament after winning a by-election here on Saturday.
Anwar won comfortably after securing more than 70 percent of the votes in a multi-corner fight, according to Malaysia's election commission.
Malaysia's Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad has promised to hand over the premiership to Anwar.
