KUNMING, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- Police in southwest China's Yunnan Province have busted a large drug trafficking ring, seizing more than 128 kg of methamphetamine, local authorities said Thursday.
On Oct. 21, police in the border township of Xiding found six blue woven bags in a wooded area containing 139 packs of methamphetamine. Further investigation is underway.
Yunnan is a major front in China's war on drugs, as it borders the Golden Triangle, which is notorious for drug production and trafficking.
