BERLIN, Nov. 23 (Xinhua) -- Barcelona striker Paco Alcacer has penned a permanent deal with Borussia Dortmund, the "BVB" announced on Friday.
The 25-year-old Spain international will stay with Dortmund throughout his season-long loan deal, as he has inked a permanent contract until June 2023.
"Paco is wholeheartedly with us. He has integrated quickly and has become an integral part our squad. He is a top scorer and has scored important deciders for us. We look forward to many more goals and assists from Paco in the coming years," Dortmund's sporting director Michael Zorc said.
Since his arrival, the striker made eight competitive appearances and provided nine goals.
"I am very happy in Dortmund. They have a wonderful team. I will try everything to pay back the trust placed in me with goals," Alcacer told the club's official homepage.
Borussia Dortmund sit atop the Bundesliga standings with four point advantage to runner-up Borussia Monchengladbach. Lucien Favre's men clash with Mainz at the 12th round on Saturday.
