WASHINGTON, Dec. 15 (Xinhua) -- Phoenix Suns forward Trevor Ariza is set to join the Washington Wizards, local media reported on Saturday.
The Suns will now send Ariza to Washington in exchange for Kelly Oubre and Austin Rivers.
Ariza previously played in Washington for two seasons (2012-14), and it was there he blossomed as a 3-point shooting specialist. He teamed up with John Wall and Bradley Beal to help the Wizards advance to the Eastern Conference semifinals in 2014.
After four years with Houston, Ariza signed a one-year deal with the Suns this summer.
