ABUJA, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- Nigeria and India are set to sign Bilateral Air Services Agreement (BASA) that would enable direct flights between the two countries, local media reported here on Thursday.
The BASA will be signed next week in India, as part of pending agreements to be signed between the two countries, according to the official News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
Nigeria's minister of state for aviation Hadi Sirika is leading a delegation to the Asian country for that purpose.
Already, there are about four indirect flights between India and Nigeria daily, via Dubai and Ethiopia.
