ABU DHABI, Jan. 14 (Xinhua) -- The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Australia discussed on Monday the friendly ties between the two countries and means to boost them in the defense and military fields.
Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received Australian Defence Minister Christopher Pyne at Qasr al-Bahr, according to the official news agency WAM.
The two sides also reviewed current issues and developments on the regional and international arenas and exchanged views about them.
