LUSAKA, March 11 (Xinhua) -- Stand-in coach of the senior Zambia national soccer team Aggrey Chiyangi on Monday summoned 25 local players into camp ahead of the 2019 Egypt Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match against Namibia.
The trainer summoned the players for the March 23 Group K formality game as Zambia has already failed to qualify for the 2019 Africa soccer showpiece after head coach Sven Vandenbroeck was suspended for the game ahead of the termination of the contract at the end of this month, according to a release from the soccer governing body, the Football Association of Zambia (FAZ).
