TIANJIN, April 9 (Xinhua) -- Tianjin Bohai Bank will represent China at the 2019 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship which opens later this month in Tianjin.
The host team on Monday announced its final squad, which includes China national team members Liu Xiaotong, Gong Xiangyu and Liu Yanhan.
The 11 participating clubs are divided into two pools. Hosts China is grouped with Kazakhstan, Iran, China's SAR Hong Kong and Chinese Taipei in Pool A, while Pool B contains Thailand, Japan, Vietnam, DPRK, Sri Lanka, and Turkmenistan.
China has won seven of the past 19 championships, of which four were earned by Tianjin. The hosts will play China's SAR Hong Kong in the tournament's opening match on April 27 at Wuqing Sport Center Gymnasium.
The 2019 Asian Women's Club Volleyball Championship runs until May 5.
