CAIRO, April 21 (Xinhua) -- Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly said on Sunday that his country is seeking to benefit from the technological development of China.
Madbouly's remarks came during his meeting in the capital Cairo with Li Jie, chairman of the Supervisory Board at Huawei Investment & Holding Co., a Chinese telecommunications equipment company.
Madbouly said Huawei could very well capitalize on the investment-friendly climate in Egypt and expand its businesses in the Arab country, especially where IT and smart cities are concerned, Egypt's official MENA news agency reported.
For his part, Li said his company is interested in the Egyptian market and willing to help the Egyptian government and private sector achieve technological development.
