KABUL, April 25 (Xinhua) -- Up to 1,550 military officers including 11 female cadets have graduated from Kabul Military Training Center (KMTC), an official said on Thursday.
The officers underwent a 12-week training course and graduated this week from the training course, Barat Ali Rezai, press officer of the Kabul Military Training Center, told Xinhua.
According to the official, the newly graduated officers would be commissioned to the national army units in the country.
Afghanistan has over 350,000-strong security forces, mostly deployed in the insecure areas to combat anti-government insurgencies across the country.
