Forum on East Asia marine cooperation starts in China

Guests attend the opening ceremony of the 2019 East Asia Marine Cooperation Platform Qingdao Forum held in Qingdao, east China's Shandong Province, Sept. 5, 2019. Themed "Towards Greater Openness and Connectivity," the three-day event is sponsored by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Shandong provincial government. Nearly 400 representatives, including government officials, experts, economists and enterprise executives from more than 30 countries and regions as well as international organizations are expected to have an extensive exchange of views on a wide range of topics including establishing a partnership network and deepening the platform's cooperation mechanism.
