SAO PAULO, April 12 (Xinhua) -- Carlos Tevez came off the bench to score in second-half stoppage time as Argentina's Boca Juniors earned a 1-1 draw with Brazilian side Palmeiras in their Copa Libertadores group match on Thursday.
The game appeared headed for a goalless draw before Venezuelan Alejandro Guerra capitalized on a scuffed Leo Jara clearance to set up Keno, who deftly angled a first-time shot into the bottom corner.
Tevez, who replaced Edwin Cardona in the 70th minute, equalized in the 92nd minute by sliding in from close range after a Cristian Pavon cross.
The result meant Palmeiras and Boca remain first and second respectively in Group H, with their rivals Alianza Lima and Junior having a game in hand.
Boca are seeking their seventh Copa Libertadores title while Palmeiras are vying to win South America's top club competition for a second time.
