JALALABAD, Afghanistan, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- At least seven militants loyal to the Islamic State (IS) group were killed and another critically wounded, following a drone attack in Afghanistan eastern Nangarhar province on Thursday, provincial authority said in a statement on Friday.
The strikes, carried out by unmanned plane on Thursday night, targeted the hideout of the hardliner IS militants in Hasaka Mina district's Abe village, leaving seven fighters dead and another wounded, the statement added.
IS militants have yet to make comment on the report.
